I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up with them and living with them daily gave me a basic understanding of how they think, behave, and communicate. Early on, I experienced what it’s like to live with difficult and even aggressive dogs—dogs we couldn’t comfortably take in public or sometimes barely out of the house. I understood early on how frustrating and even embarrassing an untrained dog can be. That experience is what pushed me to start learning how to train the right way.
What started as a challenge quickly turned into a passion. Over the years, I’ve worked with multiple trainers, studied different methods, and learned firsthand what actually works—and what doesn’t. That experience shaped the way I train today: a balanced training approach that actually works.
In addition to my work with dogs, I served 6 years in the U.S. Army National Guard Infantry. That background instilled discipline, consistency, structure, and accountability—principles I bring into every aspect of my training.
